This cache is another one of those darn micros for which you'll
have to bring your own pen or pencil. Initial and date the internal
log then log your find or no find here on the net so I know how the
cache is doing. The cache is not far off the Knickerbocker paved
road that proceeds South/West from the Cool Fire Station parking
lot located at N 38' 53.339, W 121' 01.041.
This area is a great area for hiking, bike riding, equestrian
riding, and searching for all the local caches. Be safe and aware
of the usual Sierra foothill hazards like poison oak, snakes, and
ticks. The trail to the cache is an equestrian trail with a strait
forward approach with clear GPS readings. You may have to forge a
seasonal stream or two.

Once upon a time a happy squirrel named Rocky was scampering about
the CCL collecting his acorns for the winter. He was checking out
all the spots on the ground collecting what he could to place in
his acorn cache which was secreted close by. While scampering
around something fell from the sky and hit him square on the top of
his head. As a result he was knocked out cold. Soon he awoke and
decided to run straight to the CCL Emperor to tell him the sky was
falling. He also told everyone with whom he came into contact that
the sky was falling. Panic soon prevailed amongst the subjects of
the CCL realm. High above in the sky was Buefford Buzzard who said
I've been flying in the sky all day long and indeed it is not
falling. Soon sanity was restored and Rocky, being finally
convinced, went back to his business of collecting acorns for the
winter. Rocky and all of his friends in the CCL realm lived happily
ever after.
Please make your log entry here on the net interesting for
others to read. It is permissible to embellish your posting but do
not be overly verbose. A little bit of fabrication may add to the
interest level too. Share your experience with the rest of us when
we can't be there with you. Remember to be kind to mother nature
while looking for the cache. Please do not damage the surrounding
area and put everything back just the way it originally was.
Happy safe caching...
