The starting coordinates provided will bring you to a parking lot at the Wallenpaupack Environmental Learning Center. From there, it is an easy walk to the cache. The cache is in a medium-sized storage container. Come visit this area in the summer and watch the monarch butterflies, tiger swallowtails and hummingbirds zipping around. Keep your eye out for frogs and snakes as well.
When finished geocaching, take a peek into the Wallenpaupack Environmental Learning Center. It is a fully equipped resource facility with an auditorium, science laboratory, library, offices and meeting rooms. Photos, Native American artifacts and hydroelectric exhibits are on display in the building’s public spaces. The center is not open every weekend. The weekly hours are posted on the front door.
