The cache is a well hidden black ammo box under the trunk of a downed tree. Wide trials may get you close but be prepared to amble like a rabbit through some brush near the cache. The day I placed the cache, berry bushes provided a bountiful snack.
My preferred route starts from a parking area where Naples Creek crosses under route 245. If the trial is flooded, start your hunt form one of the many parking areas on higher ground.
After you visit the cache, follow your compass north about 1000 feet to N42 37.512 W77 21.526 for an excellent view of Canandaigua Lake.
