V.E.A.C. Motto: "One for all and all for nothing"
The Victoria Explorers and Adventurers Club was formed in the late 1970’s. There was no organization in place for the intellectual, physical and ‘spirt’ual enlightenment for those in the Greater Victoria area. A close knit band of Colonials drafted up a Charter to ensure they would have such a place – VEAC was born……
Since its inception VEAC members have traveled throughout the world in a variety of quests. To date members have visited:
• Canada, USA, United Kingdom, Mexico, Thailand, Cambodia, Sudan, Egypt, Israel, China, Russia, Syria, Yemen, France, Spain, Andorra, Portugal, Italy, Germany, Luxemburg, Monte Carlo, Netherlands, Belgium, The Former Yugoslavia, Greece, Liechtenstein, Africa, Iran.
The vast membership represents occupations of:
• Taxi driver, Author, Computer Programmer, Housing Consultant, Technical Authority, Telemarketer, Professor, Vacuum Salesman, Pilot, Teacher, DJ, Photographer, Traffic Surveyor, Teacher, Book Designer, CBC Production Manager.
This cache represents their total contributions to the Public good and well being of those less fortunate. Please replace in kind.
Parking is in the lot only - no bushwhacking! Cache is hidden within 4 metres of the National Gravity Net Station monument. This area can become VERY busy; use sleuth when required and please re-hide well.
