Welcome once again my little sputnik headed friends...a thousand blessings upon you!
This is indeed a momentous occasion…the Swamilama's fifth geocache hide, to coincide with his fiftieth geocache find, and all in honor of Mike B., who introduced the Swami to the world of the geocacher.
Now Mike B looks at the Swami's portly dominion and he is upset, as the Swami does enjoy many of the temptations of this earth, and for that he recites many mantras on a daily basis. But Mike B observes that the only physical movement that the Swami performs involves a mouse, and that the Swami's skin is taking on the sickly blue hue cast by liquefied crystal, so he is determined to get the Swamilama out of his lotus position and into a state of physical movement.
Of course, the Swami has staunchly resisted anything that would interfere with his internet based meditations until he was introduced to the GPS. Now the Swami is once again at peace with nature, and his life has been brought back into balance.
One of the areas into which Mike B has pushed the Swamilama is Lopez Canyon (and it's a long way to tumble down). So to thank the erstwhile Mike B, the Swami has dedicated this Lopez Canyon geocache for his recent birthday. Happy Birthday Mike B! And for those who wander in peaceful search of the geocache, may you have many blessings fall upon you in your future lives.
This park like area is maintained by Time Warner Cable, but it is free for you to use, so bring a picnic lunch and toss some horseshoes.
For the First To Find...another one of the Swamilama's hard earned samoleans. And the Swami is not too bashful to say that he has loaded up this cache with some very nice swag to start it out with: a TWC hacky-sack, some wrist bands, some badge holders, a variety of pens, key chains, mardi gras beads, a compass, and a pair of BamBams. A veritable smorgasbord of geocaching delights!
