Geocache Description:

If you are under 18 and/or have refined sensibilities:Click here to go to the ONLY internet site you will need to solve this puzzle!

“Kama Sutra” has come to mean different things to different people. Is it a bath soap, a cyber worm, a prescription for a happy and fulfilling life or a record label famous for “Summer in the City” and “Did You Ever Have to Make Up Your Mind?" Take your pick!

Kama Sutra Records was started in 1964 by Arthur Ripp, Hy Mizrahi and Phil Steinberg as Kama Sutra Productions. Among their artists, our favorite groups included The Lovin’ Spoonful, Brewer & Shipley, the jazzy Exuma, and the quixotic Sha Na Na. Sha Na Na’s over the top renditions of 50’s rock and roll songs were always fun.

One of the earliest descriptions of encryption appears in the Kama Sutra, a text written in the 4th century AD by the Brahmin scholar Vatsyayana, but based on manuscripts dating back to the 4th century BC. The origins of the primary writings are obscure, but according to legend, they were inspired by the marital bliss of Shiva and Parvati. The Kama Sutra recommends that women should study 64 arts, including conjuring, chess, bookbinding, fixing broken objects, carpentry and zoology. Number 45 on the list is mlecchita-vikalpa, the art of secret writing. One of the recommended techniques involves randomly pairing letters of the alphabet and then substituting each letter in the original message with its partner.

Imagine yourself back in those ancient and athletically romantic times and use the same methodology to solve this puzzle and find the coordinates for the Cache.

Coordinates:

North    VIAHK VIAHK VITA FRJRP WRAI FRJRP

West     FRJRP VITA FRJRPHRRP FRJRP VCVHRRP

KEY:

Encrypted Alphabet = Red Letters (Enter In Order).

We suggest you decipher the coordinates manually. IT'S EASY and relatively quick!.....or you can use a combination of empiric and gestalt methodology (i.e., Brute Force).....or (See Hint)

You can check your answers for this puzzle on Geochecker.com.

The listed coordinates are for convienent parking in an unmarked lot on Brookside Drive going North. In the event that Brookside is closed to vehicular traffic, alternative parking is available on South Orange Ave. going East @ N 40° 45.174, W 074° 17.378. If you park at the recommended lot, follow the wide path over the bridge that crosses the Rahway River and turn right onto River Road. Continue onward to find the Cache.
