Geocache Description:

This two-stage multi cache of unknown size is located in the beautiful Cool Cache Land (CCL) Cool, CA

One of the traditional activities of the Aussies is Croc Hunting. This cache was set to honor this tradition in support of the Aussie in Auburn Event but I couldn’t locate a suitable place that wasn’t too close to other caches in the area.

When me Shelia found out that the Aussie had left Auburn, Kreikies! Me Croc went walkabout to find him in the CCL. Its been one bloomin' month since she ran out of her cage, flat out like a drinkin' lizard with just her knapsack.

What me Shelia didn’t know was that Emperor Aaron used to be a world class Croc hunter and he would stretch them out between two trees to skin them to make shoes and bags for Ms Emperor. That was many years ago and the Emperor doesn’t hunt any more. But when me Shelia got to stage one and saw that thing in the tree…she lost all control and went tearing out of there with her knapsack flapping in the breeze down the trail behind her. She may be hidin' any place mate” or she may have found another billabong to hide in. I don’t think she could have gone very far with that huge knapsack! She is a mean Shelia so watch ye step. And please help me find her! At stage one you will find the coords that will take you to stage two.

Please DO NOT take the Croc and be sure to return the cache exactly as you found it to preserve the caching experience of the next seeker. There isn’t much room in the cache so only small SWAG.

Bring your own writing tool – initials and date only in the log, please.

The nearest parking is at N38 53.335 W121 01.036. From there, you can stay on the wide-flat-black trail all the way to the cache site.

The usual foothills warnings apply; horses, bicycles, poison oak, rattlesnakes, and ticks are surely in the area but I haven’t seen any near the cache site.

There is a Jefferson (compliments of Frick and Frack’s Road to Nowhere #4 cache) for the FTF.
