This is a small cache and dash near a celtic cross monument.
This is a celtic cross to commemorate the landing of St Augustine in AD597. The cross was erected in 1884 by the second Earl of Granville who was Lord Warden of the Cinque Ports at that time. Parking is right next to the monument in layby. The hide is in wooded area at rear of site but beware of golfers at your back and please use your cacher skills to cover it back up well. Cache contains various goodies at time of hiding.
