(and no, we’re not talking about death this
time.)
Awww, come on! You have two extra days
this year and you know you need a break!
Come on over to Sylacauga to rest and talk geocaching a little
while.
SATURDAY, APRIL 14
10:00 am to 2-ish
OAK GROVE PARK, SYLACAUGA
This lovely little
park has a pavilion with some picnic tables and benches, but
you will want to bring folding chairs. There is playground
equipment for the children, and a traditional cache right at the
park
(GCRV33). As with all the parks here, no alcohol is allowed,
and pets must be on a leash. Just a note, the rules also specify
that there is to be no spitting on the walking track, so THAT
competition is out (at least on the track). Electricity and
restroom facilities are available.
Since we all will be poor from paying off Uncle Sam, we’ll have
us a pot-luck picnic lunch—please post what you think you’ll bring,
at least in general terms. Here are some suggestions:
Po’boy sandwiches (get it? :)
Chips
Dessert
Drinks
Paper Goods
Ice
