The Cache is located in downtown Augusta, GA. in a beautiful Memorial Park dedicated to Augusta's own.. James Brown. The log is located in a Bison Tube. It is well incorporated into its surroundings. Since the death of Mr. Brown, this monument is a VERY popular place for fans to sit and reflect on his life and his music!
James Brown was born in Barnwell, S.C. but grew up in Augusta and always called Augusta his home.
You might want to plan your visit around lunch or dinner time...there are several great restaurants located within walking distance!
Super "stealth" will be needed here. When you find and retrieve the cache please move to one of the many benches located away from the site to sign the log. When you
replace it, be very careful, especially if muggles are present! You might want to keep pets on a leash and by all means...bring the Kids! Plenty of free Parking!
