Located around 1.5km north of Upper Beeding near the River Adur with views to the South Downs. Although paths are flat they can be very muddy and I recommend the use of boots.
The cache is a 2 litre clear container. The name of the cache is because of the many swans that make the River Adur their home. I saw 2 when placing the cache.
The River Adur itself gets its name from the Celtic word dwyr, meaning water.
The cache can be accessed from paths from Upper Beeding, Steyning, Small Dole and Henfield. I recommend walking north from Upper Beeding (N50°53.179 W000°18.191) on the east bank.
The cache contains a FTF prize of a geocoin with activation code.
