The cache is a pedestrian cache and dash near to the Queens Medical Centre in Nottingham. The cache site has extensive views of the emergency diesel generator, the A&E main entrance and the ring road.
The Queen's Medical Centre (popularly known as QMC or Queen's Med) situated in Nottingham, England, is the largest hospital in the United Kingdom, and the largest teaching hospital in England (Karolinska University Hospital is the largest teaching hospital in Europe). It was officially opened by the Queen on 28 July 1977, and admitted its first patient in 1978. It currently has more than 1300 beds and employs more than 6000 people.
QMC was the first purpose built teaching hospital in the UK, and consists of the University Hospital of the University of Nottingham and the University's Medical School.
The cache is described as a pedestrian cash and dash as parking is just about zero in this area, the best method of travel is the NCT orange line which stops at the QMC main entrance. If you do have to come by car the best parking is at the University of Nottingham Highfields site ( see GCV19D).
