Greetings,

It has been a while since I first looked at this cache. I can't find any recent responses about maintaining this cache so for the time being it will be archived and removed from the active cache listings. We are no longer leaving caches stay disabled for extended periods of time.

Groundspeak and the geocaching community appreciate your contributions to geocaching and I hope to see this cache back in operation soon.

If you can get it back up and running in the next week or so contact me to get it re-listed. Otherwise plan to move it slightly and set up a new cache page.

Geocache Description:

Let's play Clue! This is the second of five puzzle caches that will give you the clues you need to solve the crime and find the waypoint for the sixth cache. Each cache can be done as a stand alone cache, or you can keep track of the clues and play the game in its entirety.

Please do not post in the log any information you find about the code or clues in the cache.

The waypoint given above is the waypoint to the closest parking lot. To find the waypoint to the cache, solve the code below. You will use the first 4 or 5 digits (the degrees and minutes) of each coordinate from the parking lot waypoint and use the numbers given in the code below for the last three digits (the decimal minutes) of each coordinate.

John Boddy was murdered in his mansion tonight. There were several people at the mansion at the time of his murder. It is up to you to find out who did it, where, and with what weapon.

Suspects:
Mr. Green, Colonel Mustard, Mrs. Peacock, Professor Plum, Miss Scarlett, Mrs. White
Weapons:
Candlestick, Knife, Lead Pipe, Revolver, Rope, Wrench
Rooms:
Billiard Room, Dining Room, Kitchen, Library, Lounge, Study

Six suspects, six weapons, and six rooms. Each of the first five caches will contain clues that allow you to eliminate one suspect, one weapon, and one room. There will also be a two digit code written on the cache and the log book that you will need to write down to find the final cache. Each cache will be hidden in a different park in Mid to South St. Louis County. A cache will be hidden approximately every two weeks until all six are complete.

First to Find Trophy goes to dadoo2. Photobucket/> Congratulations!

This is the 3rd replacement box. Please clip it back to the original position and hopefully it will stay there when the Meramec decides to get angry again. Here is a big Thank You to RAM0611 for such a nice container.

NOTICE: Please be respectful of the posted park hours. If you enter the park after hours you are trespassing. If you are stopped you can be ticketed or arrested and will put the future of geocaching in the parks in jeopardy

Special permission to hide caches in St. Louis County parks is NOT needed as long as the Groundspeak rules are followed. "Blanket Permission" has been worked out in advance with the park service. DO NOT CALL THE PARK as they cannot handle the calls. The Groundspeak cache reviewer does need to know exactly how and where the caches are hidden and what type of containers are used. The geocaching liaisons will notify the park service of new caches. Remember NO AMMO BOXES or PVC PIPE caches.
