Geocache Description:

5 Murals, 3 Monuments and 1 Geocache

The coordinates for the car park are N55.58.290 WOO2.57.155
The car park is at the Co-op on the main street. If you are coming from the Prestonpans side it will be on your right. If you are coming from Longniddry it will be on your left.

1.) The first clue is only a few hundred feet away from you at the car park. The coordinates are N55.58333 W002.57.202.If you face on to the street you should see a road going to the harbour .Go down it and you should see a wee building which is a kebab café. On the side of the building is a mural. How many letters are in the name of the type of animal in the lifebelt. The number you come up with will be filled in the grid at the bottom. It will be known as A.

2.) The second clue is a monument down beside the beach. The coordinates are N55.58.245 W002.57.808. From the last clue walk down the street beside the harbour until you reach a muddy road on your left. Go down that road and you will walk beside a rocky path until you reach a little garden with a stone monument. If you are disabled or have any type of disability I recommend you continue walking down the street until you reach the garden on your right. There is a year on the monument. You have to get the last digit of the year. The year is 200B. The digit is going to represented as a B in the grid.

3 and 4) The third and forth clues are at the coordinates of N55.58.147 W002.57.775. To get there from the second clue you have to go down the street beside the garden until the very end. You then turn right at the end of the street and there should be a road. Across the road should be a big garden with a war monument in the middle. On your right of the garden is another monument which is short with a number of anchors attached to it. The third clue is how many different years are on the war monument and the forth clue is how many anchors are on the short monument. These will be known as C and D.

5) The fifth clue is right beside the Power Station. The coordinates are N55.58.199 W002.55.456 .To get there you have to follow the road you have just crossed until you see a mural on a wall right in front of the Power Station. There are lots of people doing different things in this mural. The clue is how many people are carrying the boat. This will be known as E in the grid.

The last 3 clues are all beside each other and are in Prestonpans. The coordinates are N55.57.524 W002.59.223. Keep following the road into Prestonpans until you reach the local Scotmid. This is where the last 3 murals are.
6) On the mural which is a painting of the old Co-op, how many people are in front of the shop. This will be known as F in the grid.
7) On the mural with all the workers plying the trades of Prestonpans, in the middle, how many and a half pounds of salt does it say? This will be known as G.
8) The mural opposite these 2 murals has a totem pole on it. How many wings does the totem pole have? This will be known as H in the grid.
