GAG10 - LeapFrog Multi-Cache

This cache has been archived.

model12: Thanks to all who have found this one in it's short life. I have decided to archived it due to it being too exposed to search for without attracting undue public attention. The recent 'bomb scare' episode in Ottawa has prompted me to reassess all my cache hides from the perspective of possible public exposure by cachers in the process of searching for, and replacing the container.

The container has been removed in it's entirety.

Geocache Description:

A sure-way to see a little bit of Barrhaven...

This cache is for GAG10. Please do not start looking for it until 6pm on Friday, April 27, 2007.

"If you know you have to swallow a frog, swallow it first thing in the morning. If there are two frogs, swallow the big one first." -Mark Twain ...

You'll be starting with the little frogs first - the cache itself may prove to be the bigger one...

The starting point for this multi is at the posted coordinates. Once there, you should see a certain coloured object that fits with the theme of this cache. INSIDE it are written several groups of numbers, in the form of XXX/YYY. Substitute the first number for the decimal minutes of the northing, and the second number for the decimal minutes of the westing.

You also need to make note of the clue or clues left with the groups of numbers at each redirect tag location, ie; K=5 (LETTER = NUMBER). Continue along in this fashion until you have all the numbers and clues you need to find the cache. Coords for some of the redirects might be a little off, but the locations will be obvious after you find the first one...

The cache can be found at N45 16.ABC W075 46.DEF.

This is a traditional cache in a 3 inch by 18 inch long, black container covered with blue and brown spots. It is also impossible to see while standing right beside it. Trades, however, need to be small.

Extreme caution is advised as muggles and their children and pets play with carefree abandon in the cache hide area!! In winter a skating rink is set up right near the GZ, so stealth is PARAMOUNT!!

Good for car or bike; it could prove to be quite a loooong walk...

Cache contents

  • My usual geo-swag.

You will also find a logbook and a pencil.

Please ensure you hide the cache exactly as found, with nothing peeking out, and PLEASE use extreme caution as you retrieve and replace it UNSEEN. Enjoy.
