O primeiro
campo oficial de Basebol em Portugal foi inaugurado em Abrantes, no
dia 22 de Julho de 2006. O espaço, construído na "Cidade
Desportiva", permite receber provas internacionais e dar impulso à
modalidade.
O basebol (ou beisebol) é um
desporto praticado por duas equipas, que alternadamente ocupam as
posições de ataque e defesa. É um desporto muito popular no Japão e
Estados Unidos da América, onde é o jogo com maior assistência nos
estádios. O basebol, apresentado a título de modalidade de
demonstração em várias olímpíadas dispersas ao longo do tempo, foi
incluido no programa oficial dos Jogos Olímpicos em Barcelona em
1992. |

The first official
baseball field in Portugal was inaugurated in Abrantes, on July 12,
2006. This space, built on the "Sports City", allows the
organization of international baseball events and push forward the
practice of baseball.
Baseball is a sport played by two teams that alternately attack
and defend. It's a very popular sport in Japan and USA where it is
the sport that attracts more people to the stadiums.
The baseball was included on the official program of Olympic Games
in Barcelona 1992. |

A cache é um tupperware
pequeno com tampa vermelha dentro de um 'geo-famoso' saco do lixo
preto. Está escondida de modo a que não fique muito exposta. No
entanto os cuidados do costume devem ser levados em conta. "Eles
andem ai..." . A cache serve basicamente para assinalar o primeiro
campo de baseball com medidas oficiais em Portugal.
The cache is a small Tupperware with red cover inside a
'geo-famous' black garbage bag. The spot where it was hidden it's
not very exposed. However the usual stealth is always required.
"They are out there...". The cache is to mark the the recent
existence of the first baseball field in Portugal with official
measures. |
