Ammo Can hidden in the Ahnert Nature Preserve in Salem. Parking is
at 41*30.250, 072*17.255, which is along side Rt 85 at the
pull-off. There is a Salem Land Trust sign designating the
preserve.
Always on the look out for new places to hide caches in Salem, I
found this preserve on accident while looking for a mysterious,
unmarked trail. My current loss is your gain! You are looking for
an ammo can hidden *somewhere* within these woods. It holds the
usual sorts of trinkets, a log book and a geocoin that
SleepingTreeFrog has been holding for a little too long. There are
NO trails in these woods, and please be advised that the driveway
to the right is on private property. That said, the bushwhacking
isnt terribly hard- I managed to carry STF in his backpack-carrier
while placing the cache without any problems.
