Small screwtop cache along the bike path.
This is third in a of a series of caches I am making near the bike path by my home. I walk my dogs on this path often and my friends gave me several interesting containers for caches during the winter. Seems like a good time to start placing the caches.
This is a round plastic container with log book and trading items. Please try to trade even or up, especially for kids! There is a geopencil, but bring one just in case. Parking is nearby on a service road at N39° 51.474, W104° 56.247. You can get to the cache by walking on the bike path.
This is also a great area for watching birds. You will see many ducks, song birds, cranes and sometimes the eagles from Barr Lake come down to fish. Also a great area for your dog(s) and kid(s).
OK, the original placement of this cache has become too hazardous due to continuing erosion of the bank. I have moved the cache to the west side of the bike path. Hmmm....I would look closely at them short logs!
