UPDATED DESCRIPTION 7/01/10 - I’ve rated the difficulty a little higher because of having to find your way in the darkness, and sometimes in the wet. The coordinates will take you to the trail head from which you will have to look due North and follow the glowing ORANGE reflectors to get to the cache! (Mine are triangular pyramid shaped. You may encounter white flat ones, but these are NOT related to this cache.)
From there you'll need a flashlight. One of those types you wear on your head works great! Now for those of you who have a 10-gazillion-candle power lamp, leave it at home!
This cache only needs a dime store flashlight. A mini-Mag light will work perfectly. They will only be clearly visible at night. To see them best, hold your flashlight at eye level, they'll glow ORANGE. That's why one of those head lights might work well.
There are a few turns along the way, but none are more than sixty degrees except the first one. Each marker is visible in turn from the last marker. There are 9 marked trees in all. There is quite a gap between the sixth and seventh (third and fourth on the way back) so look carefully. Watch your step so you don’t trip over branches, brush, or critters on the ground.
Follow the ORANGE reflectors until you get to the tree with 2 reflectors (a little less than .2 of a mile). Be sure to hide the cache EXACTLY as you found it so the cache won't be seen in the daylight.
This cache was inspired by "Things that Glow in the Dark" by Eduman and UWFgirl in Pensacola, FL. ENJOY!
