Part of the walk is on a trail; the other part isn't too bad right now but may not be quite so easy in the summer. I'll check back and may adjust the terrain rating then.
This cache is an ammo can with an assortment of items in it. It was placed special in this location to house a temporary resident, Justin's Bat, we hope will soon be off visiting others. The cache of course will remain when he leaves.
You do not have to go deep into the caves. While there isn't a lot of evidence of falling rocks it is a possibility since there are a lot of rock faces here.
You can park just to the left, once you turn off Jefferson Road. The first part of the trail is right across the road from there.
It's amazing how close you are to the road but at the cache location you feel more isolated. There's a pretty stream below and a nice view from above.
