Another Cache Based on a Blast from the Past

Cache is not at above coordinates. Park at the above coordinates. There you will find a narrow trail leading to a spectacular beach. The property belongs to the Nature Conservancy, so please heed all regulations. No dogs are allowed.

Stay on the trail until you reach the beach. There is no need to bushwhack until the very end………………if then. Should bushwhacking be necessary, there may be pickers. Where you go when you reach the beach depends on how well you answer the questions below.

On March 2, 1858, at 11:00 p.m. off Foulweather Bluff at the entrance to Hood Canal, the S.S. Traveler ran into heavy weather. The captain headed toward shore to wait out the blow.
