Geocache Description:

An easy 1 mile round-trip excursion down the Overland Trail in the Tahuya Forest.

The following directions are designed for those on foot.
Riders can easily access this cache but will probably need to start from the Sand Hill Gravel Pit.
Park at this Blue gate but don’t block the gate:
N47 28.270
W122 51.740

Follow the forest road to the Overland Trail here:
N47 28.314
W122 51.437

Then follow the Overland Trail until you are 100-200 feet from the cache. From there you should be able to find and follow the little-used trail the final distance.
You are looking for a green five-gallon bucket.

When I returned to check the cache and coordinates I noticed that the whole area was flooded with a couple inches of water. Apparently, when it’s really wet outside, you may want some waterproof shoes/boots for this one!
