History Walk - The Fall City Cemetery
(Cache formerly known as 11,000 lbs.)
The cache container is not at the posted coordinates and it is not inside the Fall City Cemetery, but you will need to gather the clues for the cache by looking at headstones inside the Fall City Cemetery. Since this cemetery is still currently active, it is possible that there might mourners or other visitors, that might not understand what we are doing here. Please be respectful of them. The cemetery hours are from 9AM to Dusk, please limit your search for the clues inside the cemetery to those hours, however the final is outside the cemetery on public trail that is available 24/7.
General information:
If you enjoy looking at old gravestones, and a little bit of light easy hiking along a paved path then this cache is for you! The first thing you will need to do is to go to the Fall City Cemetery to collect a few clues to the final. Once you have the clues you will need to get in your car and head to the parking area (N 47° 33.044 W 121° 53.289) for the trail and to the cache container. It would be wise to plan at minimum 1 hour to do this cache, 1/2 hour to find the needed clues in the cemetery and 1/2 hour walking time round trip to the final. The parking area is less than a 5 minute drive from the cemetery.
Gathering the clues from the Cemetery:
The clues you collect will help you determine how you will walk from the final parking spot "X.XX" miles and in which direction (as the crow flies). Question 1 will tell you which direction to walk and Questions 2-4 will give you each of the "X" in "X.XX". Some folks that know this trail well maybe be able to figure out where the final is without gathering the clues, but please don't do that as you would miss out on one of the best parts of the cache.

The Final:
The cache rests in a very safe and easy to access location. You can walk or bike to the cache location, when I have gone to check on the cache container I can do the walk from the final parking location in about 15 minutes one way and I'm not a very fast walker. The final very easy to reach and not too close to any cliffs. If you find your self in a dangerous spot or if the location was difficult to reach then you are looking in the wrong location. If you get out on the trail and can't find the final, take a look at the hint, it's an absolute give away. You will need your GPS to find the clues in the cemetery but not necessarily for the final. Some folks might find that a compass would be handy but it's definitely not required.
Note from the C/O:
I adopted this cache and one other from the original owner, Trapshoot back in May of 2011 This cache was placed in 2006, and it is 2015 as I write this. I did not place this cache, and for the longest time I thought that I would eventually archive this one, however in the interim I have come to understand a few things. Though this cache isn't found a lot it is very unique, and it highlights two historical places, the Fall City Cemetery and part of an old Railroad structure. Also I have been told that more multi-caches are archived each day than are published. With this in mind I've decided to try to revive this cache rather than put it to rest. Also at this time I have changed the name from 11,000 lbs to History Walk - The Fall City Cemetery. I have done my best to make this cache be all that it can be, I do hope that you enjoy this one and I will be watching the cache page looking for your feedback. Thanks, SirKarp
