After working on the coords, I tried the local citrus. As you can tell by the name of the cache, they may make a nice marinade but they are not for eatin'. There are several caches in the area, so plan on making a day of it. During the rainy season, expect wet conditions and mosquitoes so don’t forget the insect repellent and bring plenty of water.
The cache is located in the Green Swamp East Tract, a part of the Green Swamp Wilderness Preserve and spans nearly 67,000 acres in Lake, Polk, and Sumter counties. The Green Swamp is a critical recharge area for the Floridan aquifer as well as the source of the Hillsborough, Withlacoochee, Ocklawaha, and Peace rivers. The terrain varies from pine flatwoods to cypress domes to hardwoods swamps. You will visit all of these areas if you search for all of the caches that have been placed out here.
