Questo nuovo cache della GEO-FRANCIGENA è stato nascosto nella campagna vicino a Siena, terra ricca di agriturismo e scenari da favola, e precisamente nei pressi del CASTELLO della CHIOCCIOLA (privato e visitabile solo dall'esterno)che è famoso appunto per la "scala a chiocciola" che si trova all'interno della torre circolare del Castello e che porta alla sommità della stessa. Il castello si trova sul percorso della Via Francigena fra Monteriggioni e Siena, nei suoi pressi si vede anche un'altra fortificazione con torre merlata della "La Villa", il tutto in un contesto paesaggistico molto bello.
Per trovare il cache andate nel punto indicato dove c'è un cartello bianco (foto INDICAZIONI) il quale accanto alla sigla A.T.C. riporta un numero che sommato alle coordinate sottostanti vi porterà al nascondiglio:
N 43°21.(284 + XX)'
E 011°14.(455 + XX)'
Il cache è nascosto nel foro di un muretto (foto SPOILER), siete pregati di rimetterlo nelle condizioni originali per non destare sospetti ai passanti, grazie.

[ENGLISH] This new cache belongs to the "GEO-FRANCIGENA" itinerary. It has been hidden in the countryside, close to Siena, an area very rich of agritourism locations and full of wonderful and breathless lndscapes.
The cache is located near the "CASTELLO DELLA CHIOCCIOLA", a private castle that is visitable only from the outside. This castle is famous for the "spiral staircase" that is located inside the circular tower of the castle, and that takes up to the top of the tower. In italian that type of staicase is called "scala a chiocciola", and this is the reason of the name..
This castle is on the "Via Francigena", between Siena and Monteriggioni and in the wonderful area you can also see another castle like building "La Villa".
To get to the cache you should reach the given coordinates, where you can find a white sign (picture INDICAZIONI) whose reports a number near the acronym " A.T.C.". This number has to be added to the given coordinates:

E 011°14.(455 + XX)'
The cache is hidden inside a hole of a wall (pics: SPOILER). Please put it back as you find it to avoid suspects from the other people.

[Deutsch] Dieser neue Cache der »GEO-FRANCIGENA«-Serie ist im Umland von Siena versteckt, in einer Gegend, die von Agrotourismus und traumhafter Landschaften geprägt ist. Genau gesagt ist der Cache in der Nähe des »CASTELLO della CHIOCCIOLA« - einem Schloss in Privatbesitz, das nur von aussen besichtigt werden kann - versteckt.
Das Schloss ist berühmt für seine Wendeltreppe, die sich im Inneren des Rundturms befindet und die zur Turmspitze führt. (Das ital. Wort für diese Treppenart lautet »scala a chiocciola« und war so der Namensgeber).
Das Schloss befindet sich an der Strecke der »Via Francigena« zwischen Monteriggioni und Siena, in deren Umgebung sich - landschaftlich sehr schön eingebettet - noch eine andere Festungsanlage mit einem mit Zinnen versehenem Turm befindet (»La Villa«).
Um den Cache zu finden, geht zu den angegebenen Koordinaten, wo sich ein weisses Schild befindet (Foto INDICAZIONI), auf dem neben der Abkürzung A.T.C. eine Zahl zu finden ist. Diese Zahl, zu den folgenden Koordinaten addiert, wird euch zum Versteck führen:

E 011° 14.(455 + XX)'
Der Cache ist in einem Mauerloch (Foto SPOILER) versteckt. Bitte legt ihn wieder genau so zurück, wie ihr ihn gefunden habt um bei anderen Personen keinen Verdacht zu erregen. Danke.
