Geocache Description:

Along Harrison Fork Road



Along Harrison Fork Road (from 245) or Mount Carmel Church Road (off 733) there are four bridgeless creek crossings.

I placed caches at each. Today was a good day to wade a bit and I did. In the broiling heat of summer it'll be even better.

The sign says it all. You -MUST NOT- attempt a crossing if the water is high.

HEADS UP!! I spent some time at the Bernheim office with staff. They told me that Bernheim has contacted residents along this rural lane to consider the probability that the road will be closed from both sides at the park boundary. DEAD END signs will be erected on 733 and 245. No more thru traffic, someday.

If you encounter these DEAD END signs, please say so in your log so I can update the page


There is no date set for this to happen, but when it does it's forever. The road runs right through the mid-section of Bernheim. Make this drive while you can, it's scenic.

You are seeking an Rx bottle with a log in a z-lok, or whatever was last placed there by helpers. Please replace as found so it won't fall out.
