Geocache Description:

I'm betting that most, if not all local cachers don't even know this part of the NN park system even exists.

This corner of the Newport News Park System is one of the best kept secrets in the area. Gorgeous sunsets over water (see picture) and delightful fauna emphasize this quiet hideaway. The Park Ranger says that even Bald Eagles can sometimes be seen perched in the surrounding trees.

This is a short walk with the cache located not far off the walkway. As with all Park locations, open sunrise to sunset. The cache is an ammo can with room for swag and initially features a stock of the "Light the Night" wristband RELENTLESS. I have also included a "Light the Night" stuffed animal for a FTF prize.

This is my first placed cache. Your comments and suggestions would be most welcome. This cache location has been approved by NN Parks, Registration #0017

The biggest challenge may be finding this Park area. Park in the Visitor's Center parking lot. And....*Hint* use common sense when getting there, one wrong turn and you'll end up in prison.
