In a county park, easy walk from convenient parking. Should be easy to find.
Cache is a small ammo box, which is appropriate as Heck Park is the home of the Monroe County Vietnam Veterans Memorial. Heck Park was named for Captain Norman (Rusty) W. Heck Jr., who was from Monroe County and killed in the war on December 8, 1964. At the entrance you'll find a "Huey" and a "Cobra". While you are here feel free to wander the "Walk of Freedom" at the front of the park. The memorial is maintained by the Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 142. (No, I'm not a member, but I am a Veteran.)
There is a small teddy bear for the FTF. Otherwise, the log book. Also, register your visit at the registration book at the memorial entrance.
