This cache is located along the old pilgrim trail called "El Camino Del Diablo."
This will be an "all day" find. The cache is located midway between Yuma, AZ and Ajo, AZ along the El Camino Del Diablo pilgrim trail and is accessible from either Yuma or Ajo. The trail itself is pretty slow going so leave early or plan to stay the night. A range pass is required for each person as the trail passes through the Barry M. Goldwater Range Complex. They are available for free just south of the MCAS Yuma main gate on Ave 3E (in the MCAS Yuma Human Resources Office) in Yuma. The cache is actually located in the vicinity of the Tule Well Boy Scout Camp and is a great place to camp. The camp offers great hiking and there are a few historic landmarks in the area. If you enter or exit through Ajo, you will also pass through the Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument and pass through a couple of other historic landmarks along the way. During the dry season, 4WD is not required but a vehicle with 4WD clearance is required for the rough and rocky trail. You will be looking for an ammo box. The contents include a logbook and several trading items. Good luck.
