This cache is located on a nature trail near the old school house in Columbia State Park. The parking area is open from about 9:00am to 4:30pm. If you are not out by closing time your car may be stuck there until they open the gates next morning. Bathrooms are available in the parking area (a plus when traveling with kids).
It's a nice looped trail (bring water in hot weather). It takes 20 - 30 min. to walk with ups and downs. Right now, there are trees down across the path, but they can be gotten around.
The cache is found near a nice little area with a picnic table. Nice place to have lunch & reflect.
Note: Be alert: Poison oak and rattle snakes may be in this area.
