Geocache Description:

Located in the David A. Sarnoff preserve. Last summer the DEC conducted extensive controlled burning of this area... come see the aftermath and the process of regrowth.

The cache is on NYS DEC property and a valid permit should be obtained before visiting it.

Free DEC access permit

A convenient DEC parking lot is located on the west side of rt.104. The trailhead is north of the parking lot. You are looking for a small tupper container.

There aren't many places for a cache to hide here right now. Please make sure the cache is concealed before you leave. Thanks!
