DAS Oaks Traditional Cache
Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions
in our disclaimer.
This cache is located on the David A. Sarnoff preserve blue loop trail.
This is an area where the oaks have gained a foothold and make a strong presence among the pines. This is a wetland area of the preserve and scenic ponds dot the landscape. The cache is a medium sized snapware container hidden 2-3ft from the trail. I wanted to make this painless to retrieve, but make sure you rehide it well.
A DEC parking lot is located on the west side of rt.104, south of the trailhead. Follow the white blazes (paumanok path) east, then turn left and follow the yellow blazes north until you reach the blue blazes. The blue loop is a 2 mile circuit. Enjoy!
