Geocache Description:

Easier access to this area is to go north on the dirt road that starts next to the North 15 on-ramp at Hwy 138. Pass under the two railroad tracks and the northbound 15 lanes.. via tunnels. High clearance vehicle not required, but go slow over pot holes. Standard 2 wheel drive pickup truck (or a Prius of Power) should be able to get through here (mine did!) This fourth and final "in the Road!" series cache is the most difficult of all to get to (definately), and find (perhaps).

Long ago, a great lake sat in the middle of what is today the I-15 separation. The road was forced to go around the edges of the lake (hence the I-15 split). Then one day, a mysterious triangle appeared in the bottom of the lake and like a black hole, disappeared the entire lake!

Why this triangle appeared, and who put it there was a mystery. So too is where the water went.. Never the less it's now a desert but the triangle remains to ensure a lake can never again be in the middle of I-15. Dare you to venture forth and approach this sacred place? A nice reward awaits the first to find it (fresh AA Duracells for the GPS!)..

Congrats to TandGG for being the FTF this one!
