Geocache Description:

Another Nashua Park that is currently in a bit of disrepair!

This will be the site of an April or May CITO, just need to firm up the dates and make some arrangements!

Please chip in now though and do a little CITO when you come.

The wildlife out here is awesome and very surprising considering the location! While hiding the cache I took the time to enjoy some ducks, geese and a Heron.

The trail system once you get past the parking area is surprisingly well kept. I am not sure how people access them and I want to explore that a little more.

The waypoint that I posted for parking is from the Parks and Rec department as being the public access point to this park. There is not much room, but please try to pull as far off the road as possible. Please down load the waypoint. It took me 30 minutes of driving around this area to find this enterance, so they will make your life much easier!

The trail head is right at the parking area. It looks like a vacant lot with a lot of overgrowth, but if you look closely it is also the trail head and you can go straight back through there. Again, this is public land, so if anyone gives you a hard time respectfully remind them that it is parks and rec property.

Please enjoy this area. I know it is not pretty now (the entrance, once you get in there it is very nice),

As I mentioned Nick Caggiano, Nashua Superintendent of Parks provided me with the parking area and access point to this park. If you are questioned or harrassed at the parking waypoint you can refer them to Nick to discuss their concerns. This is a public park and is open for all to enjoy.
