The Trails End Traditional Cache

When this cache was first placed, the Peavine trail extended northward to the nearby old 89. The Peavine trail now heads north all the way to Chino Valley. The old highway 89 is closed, but easily accessible by bike or foot. The Peavine trail has two major trailheads, one just north of here and one south off Prescott Lakes Parkway. The Iron King trail begins in Prescott Valley. Because the trail is a former railroad bed, it is mostly level and cinder-based. Bring a camera and lots of water. The cache is just off the trail. Please rehide and cover to prevent small critters from removing.
