Geocache Description:

Spirit Quest - The Fall City Cemetery

this cache is a few feet off a very short path that used to be a the original road into the Fall City cemetery. The road became unnecessary after the Lake Alice road was built, eventually the road was closed and today is used as unofficial trail. You do not need to enter the cemetery grounds to do the cache, however it is worth taking a moment to drive though and check it out. As with any cache placed near a cemetery please be respectful of any mourners or anyone else that might not understand what we are doing there. Please note that the Cemetery is open for visitors from 9AM to dusk.

This Cache should be an easy find, and there is no need to leave the path or trample the hillside. Parking is available, (just passed the entrance of the cemetery) at N 47 33.552 W 121 53.398 and walk along a mostly paved path. It is about a 200Ft walk from the parking coordinates to the cache.

The Fall City Cemetery was founded in late 1800’s and burial records indicate that the first burial was in 1875. The most recent burial was in 2009.

If you have the time take a moment, drive though cemetery, and observe area. If you have enough time you could also do the multi that starts out in the Cemetery and ends on the Snoqualmie Preston Rail Trail. As with any cache placed near a cemetery please be respectful of any mourners or anyone else that might not understand what we are doing there. Please note that the Cemetery is open for visitors from 9AM to dusk.

8-23-2014. More than 6 feet under - The Fall City Cemetery changed it's name to Spirit Quest - The Fall City Cemetery thus officially becoming a part of my Spirit Quest Series of Cemetery caches.

1-24-2014. Cache moved across the trail from the original location and changed from a small to regular using my signature cylindrical container.

Cache was adopted by SirKarp on 5-24-2011

Congratulations goes to Forty-n-Eight for the first to find on 3-15-2007
