About 10:00 to 1:30 for this GET-TO-GETHER. Be sure to log a "WILL ATTEND" note on THE event, so we know IF you are coming. Bring a friend(s) to let them know first hand, what geocaching is all about..

NOTE: For all of those that “drop off” their “bugs” and Coins at the 07' Spring Hoorah - "65", DON’T FORGET TO RE-PICK them back up after the "shindig"… You may not be able to view the Event once I “Archive” it… THANKS

"PIT" & Reg. toilets, showers, dump staion, & water are available.. Camping & Fishing IS available in the Park also... There are about (12-15) 30 Amp. service campsites available and LOTS of 20 Amp. elect Service is available at other campsites. Plus there are some tent sites available.
FYI, they do not accept reservations at Rodger's Park. ALSO, IF you plan on camping week-end, the Park fills up pretty quick, so come as early as you can on Friday evening, if you can..

For those that make GREAT soups AND/OR homemade Chilie Soup, bring it for the "POT LUCK" lunch, for those of us that don't make soup so well.. We ALSO want to grill some hot-dogs and/or brats. IF you can think of anything else to bring along for "POT LUCK", that'll be welcome too.. Desserts, cakes, salads, buns, etc., etc. (USE your imagination)... I know ALL geocachers like to "eat"...

You will also need to bring your own "table service", bowls, paper plates, silverware, drinks, napkins, appetites, etc,.... (Let me know IF you can bring a portable grill too).. We'll only need 2 or 3, depending on how many come....

NOTE: There are at least 4-5 Caches IN the Park, and there are 20 of them within 4 miles of the Vinton, area. I ALSO, have 8 more caches that's been approved and will be posted for the event.

It's going to be IN the enclosed shelter house (at the listed coords)... It has a wood burning stove for heat, IF required. (Let's hope it's warm outside and/or NOT raining)!!!

BTW... In case you "wondered" what the "65" was IN the title??? Well, I am celebrating my 65th Birthday April 14th... I felt I could not celebrate it alone.. Since I would like ALL my(our) Geocaching Family(Friends) here to help us celebrate... We could not think of a better bunch of people to be with, so please come and enjoy this SPECIAL day, with us...
