Geocache Description:

Another Calgary CITO event! Again, we will be in Edworthy Park, our adopted park. The coordinates are fixed for the meeting place, but I will provide coordinates for areas of the park that need cleaning and some of these areas will require vehicle travel. I am really hoping we can see a good mixture of old and new cachers. Make April 14th the day to catch up with friends! 10:00am start. See below for itinerary.

I'll add to this page as more details surface.

We're going to the park,
Park, Park!
Oh! What a lark,
Lark, lark!
We'll feel so good,
Good, good!
Cleaning up the 'hood,
'Hood, 'hood!
Picking up the trash,
Trash, trash!
In a flash,
Flash, flash!
Rolling out the tires,
Tires, tires,
And scrunching up the flyers,
Flyers, flyers!
Recycling the pop cans,
Cans, cans,
And the old pots and pans,
Pans, pans!
Marking the dirty needles,
Needles, needles,
And recording the important details,
Details, details!
Heaving out the rusty oil drums,
Drums, drums,
And avoiding the homeless slums,
Slums, slums!
Pulling out the dirty rags,
Rags, rags,
And putting it all in garbage bags,
Bags, bags!
The THz's will have green recycling bags for cans and stuff,
Stuff, stuff.
When it comes to being Green, one can never do enough,
Enough, enough!
Now the place is clean,
Clean, clean.
And the grass will grow green,
Green, green!
We can head back to the site,
Site, site,
For a tasty bite,
Bite, bite!
Of some Ford burgers and pop,
Pop, pop,
Or some of Miles' slop,
Slop, slop*
Dan's made some yummy pork on his BBQ,
Q, Q.
And Johno's coming with his whole crew,
Crew, crew.
Sandra's making a fruit pie,
Pie, pie.
Or, at least, she's gonna try,
Try, try!
There'll be a large cake,
Cake, cake,
And we're pleased that the store did the bake,
Bake, bake!
Now there's prizes too,
Too, too!
But what do you have to do?
Do? Do?
We've got coins to give away,
Away, away,
But to win one, you've gotta play,
play, play.
Some are copper, some are gold,
Gold, gold.
One is from Cache Effect I am told,
Told, told!
Be there, rain or shine,
Shine, shine,
If it's cold, we don't wanna hear you whine,
Whine, whine! ;)
This is for adults and kids too,
Too, too.
Bring everyone! There's lots to do,
Do, do!
Frank's got some surprises, I do know,
Know, know,
To find out what they are, you'll have to go,
Go, go!
There's T shirts for sale with the green frog,
Frog, frog.
I can get you your size if you log,
Log, log.
Rain would be a pain, but I know we'd all still go,
Go, go,
And nothing says, "Look at me!" more than a Geocacher in the snow,
Snow, snow!

* Only if you order in advance. Slop takes a long time to make. Especially gooey slop. Okay, taking orders...
