This cache is situated to the east of Didcot with suggested parking (N51°36.503 W001°12.594) just off the A4130 Didcot to Wallingford road, this location can be used for Jack’s Down Hill cache # 2. This is a pleasant walk along a grassy bridleway beside Hadden Hill Golf Club with views of Wittenham Clumps to the north east and Didcot Power Station to the north west.
The walk is suitable for both children and dogs but caution should be taken as there is an open 1 metre deep inspection chamber on the east side of the path at N51°37.045 W001°12.826 (60-70 metres beyond the golf club).
The coordinates given are for a 1 metre high concrete structure, upon its southerly face is a plaque with four digits preceded by the letter S, we will call these ABBC. The final cache location can be determined by substituting these numbers into the following equation where you are looking for a 330ml click lock container.
N51°37.(C-A)(B-1)(C) W001°12.(2*A)(B)(A).
At the time of placing the cache it contained a few small items to trade and a Geopin for the first to find.
