Pack 106's Cache, up Blacksmith Fork Canyon.
We introduced the boys of pack 106 to Geocaching with a trip down the trail just south of here to get “A Log Book in the Woods” and the Troop 305 Geocache. We also introduced them to CITO, and they bagged all they could fit in five bags of trash on the way back out.
This is a pretty area, and the hike can be very pleasant. But unfortunately, the parking area is often in need of CITO (We hardly made a dent). Therefore, we decided to make the pack’s geocache a CITO seed cache. The cache is an ammo can that has a few toys to trade. However, it is mostly full of CITO kits. Please take a couple to either use or to spread to other caches, and to help spread the “cache in, trash out” idea around.
