Geocache Description:

Site of a famous airshow that takes place in July each year, which usually draws thousands, for a day or two of spectacular aviation delights.

The airport is also the spot where many come to learn to fly. They come from far and wide, eg UK & Sweden. Students that have little or no experience in light aircraft, can be offered an introductory flight where you will fly with an instructor in order to experience the exhilaration of light aircraft flight. What's more, this flight will count towards the 40 hours of training required! Students that have flown in a light aircraft before may start their first lesson immediately by simply phoning in and booking a lesson! The minimum legal age at which you may fly solo is 17 years. However, many students start training at an earlier age and fly solo on their 17th birthday. There is no maximum age limit as long as you are medically fit. This multicache will take you to the local airport. The co-ords at the top is the starting point and an excellent place to have a drink before heading of to find the cache. Once you seen some planes land and take off go to Waypoint 1. ENJOY!!
