This cache is one of a series based around the Fife Stop Line, a
second world war ani-invasion defensive structure built in 1940/41,
see cache GC11H67 for more details.
If you thought that "The Singing Kettle" was the most frightening
thing to hail from round here then think again. This looks like an
ordinary micro in an ordinary country road so why did I bring you
here. Look north east across the road to the farmhouse standing on
its own among the fields. Notice anything unusual, look closely at
the corner of the garden wall, can you see three horizontal dark
coloured areas. There's a concealed bunker in there and by the time
you see it, you're already dead.
This bunker would have prevented enemy forces using the main
Cupar-Freuchie road and also the minor road into Kingskettle
itself.
