Geocache Description:

CBI stands for Celebrate Belle Isle which is an extension of the Celebrate Detroit caches. CBI is our way of making it easier for cachers to find our Belle Isle caches in their PDA’s. It is our fondness of the good that can be found in Detroit that motivates our placement of caches on the island. We hope you enjoy these caches and the island. The island can be a very busy place so keep in mind the muggle factor is high. So stealth is important, know who is around the area.

Music has always been a part of Detroit's history. Bands performed nightly in gazebos and parks around the city. In 1959, the current band shell was built. Many a summer night the Detroit Concert Band performed to crowds sitting on benches and on the nearby lawn.
