There's the beach right across the street (you can actually see
it when it's not foggy). There's a nice hotel across the other
street (although I've never stayed there), a skate park (that is
always pretty crowded even when it is foggy) and a community
center. There is a very Picasso'esque statue with a bit of history
and now a cache!
This is one of those places I had driven by frequently and was
always surprised there wasn't a cache there. Then again, in this
area it's not totally surprising since there are definitely more
scenic areas that are much more cache-worrthy. Today, we were in
the area and had the "cache bucket", so we decided to leave
something. What makes this "krooked"? That's been left open for
your interpretation.
The cache is not in any vegetation and is even wheelchair
accessible. Be aware of your surroundings especially on the
occasional sunny day here as the parking lot can be full of people.
Don't forget a pen!
