Our first cache! The nearby meadow was planted in 1994 on a terminal branch of the historic Natchez Trace. Buffalo, bear, elk, and other large animals once roamed north to the big salt lick on the Cumberland River. There is a nearby parking area off of Hemingway Drive.
With the available paths, this cache is accessible throughout the year.
