located near hood park. little over 1/3 mile from boat dock parking. lots of downed trees, and uneven terrain. The area is gorgeous. It's near two small lakes/ponds off of the Snake River. There are trails around the lakes with small shelter built for watching the wildlife... birds, waterfowl, ground hogs, and beaver. Hood Park is a great place to bring the family, the dog and have a bbq or hang out.
