This is the 3rd of 4 caches I am placing that are named after my sons.
The cache is a clear plastic container filled with pens, pencils, dog chew toy, rubber animals, toy cars, and a whole bunch of other things that I have forgotten (and the boy the cache is named for who loaded the container is sleeping).
This one is a little bit of a hike. I would say round trip is just under 1 hour. Take a moment and check out the blind (you'll see what I mean). This entire area is a very peaceful place to sit and relax. Enjoy.
Sorry but there are no dogs or bikes allowed on this one - it is a nature reserve.
Because this is a nature reserve the cache is hidden right beside the trail (approx 7 feet). There is no need to hike around in the brush. Follow the path.
The parking lot is open 24 hrs a day from May to October but in the winter months the gate is locked 11 pm to 7 am?
This cache is available year round but the scenery is best spring, summer, and fall.
