We are placing this cache following the tradition begun by SpecEd and Amy.
This cache is to not only honor two people who truly reached a milestone, but to thank them for nearly 200 hides that they have created for their fellow cachers. They have kept the sport interesting and fun with new and unique ideas and have encouraged and helped others get started with their own caching experiences.
We are lucky to have met them at a cache one Sunday afternoon two years ago, and from that day on a great friendship and comradery has grown. What did we ever do before Geocaching or Carol and John? And of course, Sunday night dinners followed by the "Dine and Hide" series.
This is what caching is all about-adventures and experiences, storytelling and laughs, meeting new people and making lasting friendships. Congratulations on a job well done and may the road to 3000 be just as exciting and as much fun. We are so glad our paths crossed that Sunday, and we have been able to share all of these great times with you.
There are some souvenirs for the first few finders. Take one of the micros only if you will hide it in the near future and mention Carol & John in the hide. No need to be kind or complimentary just some mention! Here's a chance for a little good clean fun.
