Geocache Description:

Geocachers of West Tennessee

This cache is the second in a series following the story of Donnie “The Nose” Romano and his "associates." It began at the original cache, GCEE04 M-town Mobland, Part I: The Botched Drop

After escaping the wolf river bottoms, Marty “Bulldog” Graviano fled north into these woods with the Owens Boys hot on his tail. He tried to hide in the bushes out by Yale Road and be real quiet while Owens and his stooge, Jack Andolini palavered in the gravel parking lot. He was doing pretty good, until something hit him. That something was a pain: a gas pain. Bulldog had to fart. "Whadda time" he thought to himself. "Oh well, I won't be the first person ever killed by gas" Despite the desperate situation, he had to fight like mad to stifle a laugh! Then the thought hit him: "Laughing gas!" Knowing that the strain of holding in the laugh was likely to cause a deadly explosion, he decided his only hope was to create a confusing commotion and make another run for it. Being unarmed, he used the only means at his disposal.

"WHO'S SHOOTIN' AT US?!" Owens shouted. The sound, fortunately so loud as to seem to come from all directions, caught Owens and Andolini off guard just long enough for Bulldog to take out down the Blue Trail! Running like a man possessed, he branched off north along an unmarked trail where he spotted his salvation: an outhouse at N 35 13.462 W89 52.187! Perfect cover for a man in his unique "condition!" He just managed to get in and hide when he heard Owens and Andolini approach.

"He hadda come dis way," Andolini growled. Bulldog listened as the two palavered in muffled voices, hoping they'd be encouraged to continue up the trail by the same stench that was now rotting his own eyeballs! Finally, he heard Andolini say, "Listen, Boss, as long as we're here..." "If you can stand to go in there, be my guest, my friend!" Owens replied. The gig was up! Bulldog would once again have to rely on the element of surprise! Busting out of the outhouse (leaving it in the condition in which you now find it), he knocked Andolini into Owens, sending both gangsters tumbling to the ground!

Charging headlong into the deeper woods, Bulldog's stash caught on a limb and was pulled from his hand! As he reached back for it, a shot whizzed past his head and caused him to decide that it was better to get away without the goods, than to die with them.

Owens and Andolini continued the chase until they spilled out into the sleepy subdivision, where they saw no sign on Bulldog. Except a few drops of a dark, salty substance, trailing away from the woods, but suddenly ending at the intersection. Did Bulldog have help? Owens knew one thing for sure: the chase was over...for now.
