Geocache Description:

Turnoff is from the R67 at S32 42.956 E26 35.247. There are a few other caches in and around Fort Fordyce to find.

The listed coordinates will take you to a board where you need to answer questions to obtain the coordinates for the final.

Fort Fordyce is an easy one stage multi-cache situated high up in the mountains overlooking the mountains of the Katberg, Gaika’s Kop and the Three Hogs. This area is rich in history of the Kaffrarian Battles. Visit the office there for more information in this regard. There are also beautiful circular hikes in this area. Enquire at the office. A small conservation fee is payable at the Reception/Office.

Take a weekend or day off to enjoy the wonderful scenery and the beauty of the mountains. Picnic or braai at the regular picnic site or around the small dam at the campsite or book chalet accommodation. The campsite has no facilities except a long drop.

The Final is at S32 40.ABC E026 29.DEF
In order to calculate the final use only the four names against the arrows.

A = Second row. Second word. (Last letter divide by 2)
B = Fourth row. First word. (First letter divide by 4)
C = First row. First word. (First letter divide by 3)
D = Fourth row. First word. (Fifth letter divide by 3)
E = First row. Second word. (Second letter)
F = Third row. Second word. (First letter)

This cache has been revamped (Jan 2017) to make it easier to find as the head-stones at the graves are not easy to read anymore. However, it is a point of interest so do go to S32 40.580 E026 29.263 to view them.

FTF honours goes to iNokia.
